Boy Scout Trail Road

August 9, 2020 / sugarsitaspell / 1 Comment

The Big Branch Marsh Boy Scout Road Boardwalk and Trail was a last minute addition to our staycation itinerary. It was a great add. The site, in Lacombe, is an easy drive from Baton Rouge. The trail is short and accessible.

We were treated to black-bellied whistling-ducks, a great heron, and striking flora.
