“A grateful heart is a beginning of greatness. It is an expression of humility. It is a foundation for the development of such virtues as prayer, faith, courage, contentment, happiness, love, and well-being.”
― James E. Faust
My three years as the marketing director at the Oregon State University Alumni Association were marked by personal and professional growth. I made lifelong friends, pushed myself to learn new skills and explored a beautiful corner of the world.
Now it’s time to embrace a new adventure as Mr. McB and I make our lives in Baton Rouge. Once again, I’m the trailing spouse. I’ve been there before, but expect some of the old anxieties to return. I’m doing my best to remind myself of old lessons to manage the stress.
Expect to read about the big drive and job hunt. As always, this blog is primarily devoted to food, cooking, travel, photos, and the random bits that make life worth living.
